Tom Taylor

Tom Taylor has more specialized education and more registered designations in second home real estate than any broker in Belize. He is a Charter Member of the Resort and Second Home Specialist designation created by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) to help the public find qualified second home Realtors. Taylor also holds the Senior Real Estate Specialist certification, sponsored by the Real Estate Buyer’s Council of NAR and a Resort and Recreation Specialist award, sponsored by the Worldwide Recreation Council. To facilitate international sales, Taylor earned a Trans National Certification from the International Council of Real Estate Associations, (ICREA).
Tom Taylor has been a leader in serving the condo and second home industry on a state, national and international level. As a pioneer in bringing second home accommodations into the mainstream of today’s lodging choices, Taylor authored much of the American Automobile Association (AAA) code to establish standards of professional service for condominiums in the United States, Caribbean and Pacific destinations favored by today’s travelers.
     Taylor served in the American Hotels and Lodging Association (AH&LA) Board of Directors for over 5 years and on his local Hospitality Associations’ board for almost 20 years. The American Hotel and Lodging Association counts more than 4,800 members of its worldwide alliance and provides 4.5 million guest rooms to the public.
     Taylor’s career of outstanding achievement is based on a belief that experience information and service are the distinguishing factors to attain lofty career goals. The total second home real estate sold by Taylor reaches nearly $200 Million. Taylor believes the same opportunities are found within the boundaries of Ambergris Caye.
